What is a Miscellaneous Item

What is a Miscellaneous Item in Eazy Costing, and when should it be used?

A Miscellaneous Item in Eazy Costing is a Quote or Cost “Line Item Type”. The Line Item Types are: Stock Items, Labour, Travel, Miscellaneous and Fixed Rates.

Miscellaneous items are items that are not Stock Items, Labour, Travel or Fixed Rates.

A Miscellaneous Item could be used in the following scenarios:

  • If the item is an item that could never “Physically” be in “in a Store”. (E.g. Accommodation, Safety Files)
  • The item is a “Custom Built” item that, even though a physical item, can only ever be used in one scenario. (E.g. Supermarket Air-Conditioning Ducting)
